Description
Caper is a small shrub with white and pink flowers. Its flower buds are harvested between May and September and preserved in salt. Rich in aromatic and medicinal properties, the caper is a typically Mediterranean fruit widely used in cooking, which adds flavour and taste, enhancing the most different dishes. Its savoury and “sunny” taste is ideal for sauces, fillings, and salads, on pizza or as an ingredient for the preparation of first courses.
