We are committed to sustainability in our choice of organic production. For this reason, in our fish line we use only seafood caught with eco-sustainable methods, respecting nature and marine ecosystems.
Our brand is placed only on fish certified Friend of the Sea (FOS), the international certification body that guarantees products come from sustainable fishing.
The anchovies “Principe di Gerace” are caught using a traditional fishing method from Southern Italy, the Lampara. This involves small Italian boats equipped with lamps that attract fish, which are then brought on board with a floating purse seine. The fish suffer no mechanical stress and are not handled, ensuring a high-quality catch. Moreover, the Lampara is selective and does not damage the seabed.
The genuine yet refined taste of our anchovies comes from a combination of excellent ingredients: ultra-fresh FOS-certified anchovies and our own organic extra virgin olive oil. In the Mediterranean recipe, the anchovies are enriched with herbs from our fields, making this a gourmet product with an unmistakable flavor.
